iOS 26 release timeline
If we follow Apple’s usual schedule, then fans can expect Apple iOS 26 to launch publicly alongside the new iPhone 17 in fall 2025.
For now, the developers’ beta is already available and a public beta is also expected to come out soon.
To access the public beta, navigate to Settings > General > Software Update > Beta Updates, then select the public beta and follow the download instructions.
Which devices will support iOS 26?
Apple iOS 26 is going to support a wide range of iPhones. This includes iPhone 17 series, iPhone 16 series, iPhone 15 series, iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 series, iPhone 12 series, and iPhone SE (2nd generation and newer).
Unfortunately, older models, such as the iPhone 11 series, may not receive the update. To install iOS 26, make sure your smartphone has at least 8GB of free storage, 50% battery life, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
