Top four best armors in Ghost of Yotei

Undying Samurai Armor: Best for Melee-Focused

If you like close combat fights, this armor is the perfect choice for you. While switching blades and weapons in the mid-fight, this armor provides bonuses.

Minor health restoration on staggering adversaries, wider perfect parry/dodge windows, and an increased likelihood of stagger damage when aligned are among the stats. You can unlock this pretty early via the main quest.

Crimson Kimono: For stealth

If you want to play more stealthily and want to be a top assassin, this armor is for you. You can find this in the Myth quest at Teshio Ridge.

It will amp up the assassination with Kunai and Kusarigama. Chain assassinations (up to two Kunai), significant enemy detection decrease, and increased Kusarigama range. Avoid the main confrontation and slip through like an assassin.

Dragonfly Armor: For range

If you like bows & sniping and want to be a top dog when it comes to archery, then this armor is the best in Ghost of Yotei.

Fully drawing causes a timed glimmer; fire during it for enormous damage/range bonuses, concentration regen on empowered shots, and faster reloads.

This is beginner-friendly and pretty safe to kill from a distance while avoiding the melee combat. If you like sniping, go for it.

Robes For Sitturaynu: For exploration

This armor is a gift that is received from Ainu. This is your go-to armor for exploring and wandering in Ghost of Yotei.

It guides to Altars via fireflies/vibrations (55m range), allows Golden Birds to lead to songs/paintings, and automatically collects flowers in trails/grass.

This won’t help in combat, but it’s pretty reliable and important for exploring Ezo. You can switch between this and one combat armor throughout your playthrough.
