BGMI’s tournament BMPS 2024 is going to pay well who wins

The Battleground Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2024 has already started, and fans are enjoying this long eSports fest in India. The series started on August 20, 2024, and is going to continue till September 29, 2024. In this article, we will further discuss the tournament organized by Krafton, the BPMS 2024 live stream, the schedule, prize money, and more details.

Know about the BMPS 2024 schedule and format

The BMPS 2024 is divided into two different phases, which will start on August 20 and end on September 29, 2024. These two phases are the league stages and the grand finals.

A massive number of 128 teams are participating in this tournament, which is divided into two groups: the Red Group and the Blue Group. These two are further divided into 4 small groups. According to SportsAdda:

• Round 1 of the BMPS 2024 from August 20 to September 5 will have each group playing 6 matches.
• After that, the groups are going to be reshuffled, and then the process will repeat.
• The top 64 teams from the overall standings will then head towards Round 2.
• Round 2 will start from September 7 to September 10. These 64 teams will be further divided into 4 groups. (16 teams each).
• Every team will then play six matches, and the top 48 teams in the overall standings will qualify for Round 3.
• Round 3 will start from September 11 to 14, and the teams will be split into three groups. (16 teams each)
• In Round 3, every team will be playing 8 games, and the top 24 teams from the overall standings will be qualified for the semi-finals.
• The 24 teams will compete in the BMPS 2024 semi-finals which will be held on September 15 to 18. Each of the three groups will consist of eight teams from among the qualified teams. The format of the matches will be a double round-robin.
• The BMPS 2024 Grand Finals will be held in Kochi from September 27 to 29. The final 16 teams will play a total of 18 matches, six matches each day, to decide the final winner of the tournament.

BMPS 2024 Prize Pool of ₹2 crore

The enticing and eye-catching prize pool of ₹2 crore has been announced for this tournament. The winner of BMPS 2024 will take INR 75 lakh home, while the second and third places will take INR 30 lakh and INR 20 lakh as prize money. Check out the prize distribution here:
