In the new gameplay footage, The Deserter is introduced as one of the most powerful Resonants in the game.
This boss is massive, and it is barely holding its molten body together while spewing lava everywhere on the battlefield.
In the footage, we can see the protagonist avoiding the pools of molten lava and then carefully learning the boss’s attack patterns. But as the fight progresses, the boss becomes more aggressive and it will force the players to be constantly on the move.

The protagonist Dylan was also seen exploring the dangerous industrial facility, which is overrun by the enemies, before he faced the giant Resonant.
