EA Sports has just released the EA FC 25 Title Update 14 Patch Notes, which will have significant changes to the game on all platforms.

This was announced on April 29, 2025, on the EA Sports FC Direct Communication X account. The new update focuses more on defensive gameplay tweaks and other fixes.

Gameplay changes in EA FC 25 Title Update 14

Here is everything you need to know about the latest patch notes and what changes are going to be made according to EA FC 25 Title Update 14:

Gameplay

• AI teammates can provide less defensive pressure while adopting aggressive defensive tactics (91+ depth).
• Team Press now has a maximum duration of 45 seconds, up from 20.
• Team Press depletes stamina much faster.
• Excessive use of Team Press can cause stamina to drain up to 2.6 times faster.

General, Audio and Visual

• Updated various badges, hair, kits, equipment, tifos, and boots.
• Addressed a potential stability issue.
• Identified occurrences of placeholder and missing text.

Career Mode

• Corrected instances of inaccurate tournament scheduling.
• Fixed a stability issue that may have occurred on saves produced with a certain Squad Update.

These adjustments, which are built into the FC IQ system, attempt to make defending more skill-based while rewarding tactical decisions.

The stamina penalty may change the meta toward stamina-heavy midfielders, potentially displacing low-stamina defenders in high-pressure games.

Changes made in the Career mode are also very crucial. There have been many cases where bugs have impacted major tournaments like the UEFA Champions League in EA FC 25.

EA FC 25 Title Update 14 is not a heavy update compared to the previous one, however, it’s very crucial when it comes to bugs and gameplay improvement.

The nerf to 91+ depth answers to community concerns for balance, while the Team Press modifications deepen defensive options.

However, the higher endurance drain may disproportionately benefit high-budget teams in Ultimate Team.
