EA FC Pro 25 season kickoff: Schedule, prize pool, qualifiers & more

The Second Season of FC Pro

With the release of EA FC 25, Electronic Arts has also announced the new season for the FC Pro 25. The professional FIFA esports players have been eyeing for so long as the total prize money will be $1 million.

With an increase in the number of participants for the EA FC Pro 25, they have additionally introduced the FC Pro Open Cup and qualifiers.

FC Pro Open

This will happen in the ten regions and players will have to battle against regional and international competitors. This will earn you a spot in the FC Pro World Championship.

FC Pro Open Cups

New format which will provide you with more ways to reach the summit of FC Pro competition. You can also earn a spot in the World Championship Play-ins.

FC Pro Leagues

Invite only league for Professional players from famous clubs and teams.

FC Pro World Championship

The best 32 players will compete for the World Championship with a massive prize pool of $1 million. The top 8 players from FC Pro Open will be directly qualified for the event.

From October 1 to 7, 2024, the FC Pro Open will start, and the ones who are qualified will make it to the Regional Qualifiers. This will be held on October 12 and 13, 2024. After that, the Global Qualifier will start from November 1 to 3, 2024. 

The main FC Pro 25 Open will start on November 25, where the top 24 contenders will battle against each other.

FC Pro 25 open format

Here is the full format which is updated on Liquipedia. All matches are played in a single game with 9-minute halves.

Group Stage – November 25th, 2024 – January 27th, 2025

• 24 players split into 4 groups of 6 players.
• Double Round Robin.
• The top 1 from each group advances to the Quarterfinals and Worlds.
• 2nd-3rd from each group advance to Playoffs Round 1.
• 4th from each group are invited to the FC Pro 26 Open Global Qualifier.
• 5th-6th from each group are eliminated.

Playoffs – February 1st and 2nd, 2025

• 12 players.
• Single Elimination Bracket.
• Semifinalists are invited to FC Pro 26 Open.
• 5th-12th are invited to FC Pro 26 Open Global Qualifier.
• Quarterfinalists advance to Worlds.
