Elden Ring Nightreign server downtime & maintenance for July 31, 2025; Duo mode update

The duo expedition is finally here!

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have now officially announced the upcoming Elden Ring Nightreign server downtime for the latest patch 1.02.

This update will introduce the most-awaited feature: The Duo mode for the fans. Originally set to release on July 30, 2025, but got delayed due to a Tsunami warning in Japan.

Elden Ring Nightreign server downtime timings

Elden Ring Nightreign server downtime will start on July 31, 2025 at 01:00 PDT | 10:00 CEST | 17:00 JST | 1:30 IST.

This downtime will last for one hour on every platform. After that, the patch notes 1.02. will be revealed on the official website.

Servers are back online and the Everdark Sovereign version of Augur will awaken in less than one hour, on July 31, 2025 at 12:00 CEST | 03:00 PDT | 19:00 JST.

What to expect?

The duo mode expedition feature will be added in the new update. Now, you can join with one of your friends to go on a night adventure in Limveld.

The start of the second cycle of Everdark Sovereigns, the improved bosses that the developers have been bringing into the game on a weekly rotation, has also been delayed until after the patch goes live.

Aside from the Duos mode, which FromSoftware promised to release shortly after the multiplayer Soulsperience premiered, version 1.02 will contain UI adjustments and additional relic filtering options.

This patch was supposed to go live yesterday, but got delayed due to a tsunami warning, which was later followed by an earthquake near the Kamchatka Peninsula.
