Sports Interactive has finally dropped a new update patch for Football Manager 26 on Steam. This isn’t your normal update, as it has over 300+ fixes, tweaks, quality-of-life gems, and gameplay polish to smooth out your managerial dreams.

This is also for the beta track and if anyone finds any problem, they can report it on the bug tracker. Here’s everything you need to know about the new update patch.

• UI Improvements: Toggle or slow down screen transitions for faster navigation. There’s also a new ability to modify attribute colors, so your scouts’ reports will stand out with a personal touch.
• Match Pace Magic: 1.5x speed during highlights and 4x between them, so you can binge those derbies without the slog.
• Scouting Smarts: Manual scout assignments now dispatch the correct talent, eliminating mismatched reports.
• Newgen Glow-Up: Youth intakes glow with photos in match graphics; watch your wonderkids steal the spotlight.
• Set-Piece Visibility: When assigning takers, attributes now appear, and pressing the spacebar advances messages.
• Crash and Polish fixes include hundreds of stability updates, language tweaks, text overlaps, and other changes, as well as the correct ball color for snowy weather.

• Fixed second-half match freezes in single-player careers.
• Corrected the World Golden Ball prejudice towards South American players.
• Text scaling saves correctly, and the Fixtures and Results popups close to the right.

• Winners appear in the Competitions Card, and the portal always returns post-friendlies.
• UCL broadcasts have polished red card icons and aggregate scoring spacing.
• Spacing disrupts the holiday, but the Player Database’s “Find Similar” criteria are accurate.
• Fixture tiles are updated after each match, and “Scouting Finished” lists players.
• The “Intermediary Suggestion” headlines are right, and the Progress Report graphs have been adjusted.
• Spectator leave button at halftime; Quick Start team selection is consistent.
• Serie A “non-EU” rules have been rectified; unmanageable divisions are buried in the setup.
• Tooltips have been updated, and the First Team Form now includes numeric scaling.
• Position selectors reflect team selections; Medical Center summary loads.
• Contract Negotiation “Exit Talks” works. Set the Piece/Penalty characteristics to visible.
• Tactic Familiarity increases in Match Day Tactics, whereas Manager Creation saves accessories and wrinkles.
