K-pop sensation NewJeans and a collaboration with Fortnite almost happened. Fans would have gotten epic group skins, an in-game concert, and a jam-packed music pack.

But now, it’s allegedly indefinitely delayed due to their fallout with their label ADOR. Fortnite insider HYPEX has claimed that this collaboration is now delayed, which was originally scheduled to release on January 14, 2025. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Reasons behind the delayed or cancelled collaboration

It appears now that this collaboration is indefinitely delayed or has been cancelled for now. In November 2024, the members of NewJeans attempted to terminate their contract due to “mistreatment.”

Since then, the group has been struggling and facing issues with ADOR. Now, on December 29, 2025, ADOR terminated Danielle Marsh’s deal and sued her, her family and former CEO Min Hee-jin for millions.

This has also left other members’ futures in doubt. This is also one of the reasons why the Epic and ADOR collaboration might have been affected.
