Fortnite server maintenance & downtime timings
The Fortnite server will go under maintenance for update 39.40 on February 5, 2026, at 4 AM ET/2:30 PM IST.
The server will be down for 1-3 hours and matchmaking will be disabled during this time. We will keep you guys updated once the servers are back online, so make sure to bookmark this page.
What to expect from Fortnite 39.40 update?
The early patch notes and leaks are already out, sharing what’s next is about to come during the Valentine’s Day event.
First, we have the original skins based on pink color, representing the color of love for the fans. Friend Zone Bubble from social media is also making a comeback.
This bubble creates an impenetrable barrier for 30s, which also provides a low-gravity effect for the players. You won’t be able to use weapons inside this bubble.
Epic Games have also teased a collaboration with the popular gacha game, Honkai Star Rail. Two swords belonging to Kafka and Blade have been teased in the teaser. More information and details might be available during the downtime.
Marvel Rivals wave 2 will be back with Luna Snow and Magik arriving on the battle royale island. Fans can also expect Luna Snow’s song as a Jam track and Magik’s soulsword as possible back bling, pickaxe or both.
