What to expect from the holiday event

The winter festive season is arriving soon and fans are now gearing up for the Fortnite Winterfest 2024 event. This year it is also known as “Wintervestigation.”

Leakers have already started to provide leaks on what fans can expect this time for this time. Let’s check out more details in this article.

When Fortnite Winterfest will start?

The Epic Games have not announced anything yet for this event, however, the community and leakers can already guess based on past releases. It is expected to start on December 10, 2024, with the launch update for Chapter 6 Season 1.

Winterfest has historically begun on the first Tuesday or second Thursday in December. It began on the first Tuesday of 2022 and on the second Thursday of 2023, establishing a baseline for this year’s forecasts.

The famous Fortnite leaker ‘HYPEX’ has also suggested that maybe we might get the teaser for the Winterfest on December 10 and the official event may start with the v33.11 update on December 17.

What to expect?

Here’s what fans can expect:

• There will be a new addition this time with the ice skates. This will bring forth a new mobility in Fortnite which is always welcome in the game.
• The reappearance of the legendary Winterfest chalet, last seen in 2022, is highly doubtful. In the prior year, presents were provided via the Quests tab.
• Aside from the event’s name, “Wintervestigation,” information is limited. However, we will update this post as new information becomes available.

For now, the fans can only wait for the confirmation from Epic Games or new leaks for Fortnite Winterfest 2024. While waiting, you can enjoy chapter 6 and Fortnite OG with new weapons, maps and other game enhancements.
