According to famous leakers, @AdiraFNInfo and HYPEX on X, the crossover is set to drop tomorrow, January 13, 2026.
The crossover is based on the 2025 sequel starring Cillian Murphy, Jodie Comer, and Ralph Fiennes, which was datamined in last week’s update and does not require any big patches.
What to expect?
This ain’t a very big crossover as it is reported that only backbling & pickaxe will be available in the item shop. This will be based on the 28 Years Later movie theme.
Nothing big, no character skin, emotes, jam track, or any sort of zombie event. I think this is a kind of missed opportunity, as we believe that a small zombie event with 28 Years Later would have been amazing in Fortnite Battle Royale and zero build theme.
Meanwhile, the sequel to 28 Years Later is all set to take place on January 16, 2026. This will take place after the events of the previous film.
