Pay attention to cues and spot visual hints

Just like Tsushima, you will find the golden birds here, which will take you to secrets, smoke hints at camps, and odd trees (yellow/red leaves in green forests) mark hidden spots. There can be bamboo strikes, hot springs and other things that can help you with your upgrade.

This time, you have a type of binoculars to look for and spot POIs from high ground. You can also pre-plan your routes while traveling in the vast world of Ezo.

Master Combat Basics

In Ghost of Yotei, the main combat basics are dodge, block and parry. If you are a veteran who has played Tsushima, you won’t find too much trouble.

But for beginners, this might pose some challenges. Have patience, check what weapon the enemy is using and counter it with your different weapons in the arsenal. Use various tools, learn enemy attack patterns and counter-attack with your skills.

Unlock Techniques Wisely

Don’t rush to unlock every ability in the game. Read their description properly and head towards the way you want to build your character. Unlock abilities and techniques based on your build and playstyle.

You can easily get the maps from cartographer Isaburo (50 coins) or snag them free from NPCs. These maps provide you with POIs with some secrets and discoveries.
