GodLike Esports secures third place at COD Mobile China Masters 2025 Season 9

India’s team, Godlike Esports, recently delivered a masterclass performance and secured third place at the Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) China Masters 2025 Season 9.
They were able to earn a $31,000 prize despite facing tough challenges. The event, which ran from March 20 to May 24, 2025, featured 11 teams competing for a $261,290 prize fund, with the Grand Finals scheduled for May 24 between China’s Wolves and Qing Jiu Club.

The start was not perfect for them in Call of Duty Mobile (CODM) China Masters 2025, there were quite a few struggles.
However, against all odds, they were able to secure a spot in the offline Playoffs in Shanghai.
Despite the absence of its captain, Jash “Learn” Shah, who was unable to go due to visa concerns, the team showed perseverance.
GodLike won their first Playoff match 4-1 over Stand Point Gaming, advancing to the Upper Bracket Final.
GodLike lost 0-4, dropping to the Lower Bracket Finals against Wolves, a powerhouse and 2023 World Championship winner.
There, they faced Qing Jiu Club, who had earlier defeated them 3-2 in the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Despite a strong fight, GodLike lost 1-4 and finished third in the competition.
Prize Breakdown
After getting the third place, GodLike Esports earned $31,000, while Stand Point Gaming took fourth with $24,000. XROCK and All Gamers each secured $17,000, and OUG and Kingzone claimed $10,000 each.
The Grand Finals winner will take home $89,400, while the runner-up will earn $41,256. Wolves and Qing Jiu Club have dominated, paving the way for an exciting finale.

The absence of Learn tested GodLike’s commitment, but the team’s performance demonstrated their promise.
Learn showed pride in X, stating, “We are third in CDM S9.” I’m proud of my team’s mental strength. Thank you for believing in us. “We’ll be back with a bang.”
S8UL, the other Indian team, finished tenth, showcasing India’s burgeoning global esports presence.
