A very big difference in map size?

With the release of the new game next year, the buzz around GTA has been a lot and many fans have already started to speculate about the GTA 6 map.

In keeping with what was felt about early rumors and leaks, GTA 6 is expected to bring a world that is larger and more detailed than any in the series, and this just makes fans wait for the game to be released.

GTA 6 Map: Bigger, Bolder, Better

According to many leaks and rumors, it suggests that the GTA 6 map is going to be double in size compared to GTA 5. The previous game size was around 29.28 square miles. (75.84 square kilometers)

So, if we take this into consideration, then fans can expect the map size to be around 48.26 square miles. (125 square kilometers)

The new map will be inspired by reimagined Vice City and Miami City. Rockstar is likely to unveil the next environments such as swamps, small towns, beaches and some prison areas.

Comparing both Grand Theft Auto 5 and 6 Maps

The previous game was set in Los Santos which was based on Los Angeles City. The city was alive with street traffic, high-rise buildings and diverse neighborhoods that are typical of southern California chaos.

Instead, GTA 6 will bring the players back to Vice City – the fictional Miami with neon signs, beaches and quite an ambiance.

It is also expected to feature many different counties like Vice Dale County, Vice City Downtown, Kelly County and beaches. Also, the prison area or section is also expected in this game which will bring more missions related to prison break, heist and many more.

Lately, there has been significant discussion about the size of the GTA 6 map and its features since GTA 6 is expected to hit the shelves in the autumn of the year 2025. GTA 6 map will be even larger than previous games and more diverse featuring urban landscapes of the large American cities like Vice City and its surroundings: rich uniquely designed swamps and rural cities.
