Why another delay for GTA 6?

According to Jason Schreier, a senior journalist at Bloomberg, Rockstar’s GTA 6 is such a big and ambitious project they might think about another delay instead of rushing things. Schreier noted, “The next Grand Theft Auto is a huge and ambitious game, I expect that it will slip to 2026.”

This desire and decision might be taken because of the avoid overworking developers which might affect the project. They want to deliver a smooth and polished product, avoiding the pitfalls experienced by other high-profile releases like Cyberpunk 2077.

If this prediction is correct by Schreier, then PC users might have to wait until 2027 for the release. This will be a huge disappointment for the fans who were waiting for the game.

Schreier hinted at two huge announcements for 2025 that might excite gamers: the much-anticipated release of Silksong and the launch of Half-Life 3. These developments may bring some relief to fans waiting for Rockstar’s next big smash.

Personally, I hate this news if it’s true. Rockstar has not provided any new details or updates regarding the GTA 6 till now. Many fans have already started to suspect that there is a chance that this game might get delayed once again.

But this might be a really good decision. As a fan, we have been waiting for this game for a long time and our expectations are really out of control right now. We expect Rockstar to deliver something that will be remembered forever in the gaming community. And to do that properly, they don’t want to rush anything and deliver a faulty or buggy IP.

Even though it would be a huge disappointment at least fans will patiently wait for the game if this gets delayed once again. Also, this is based on Jason Schreier’s sources, predictions and reports. Nothing is official yet, so we have to wait for the official confirmation first.
