• Luocha (Limited Imaginary Abundance) – Healing maestro.
• Himeko (Fire Erudition) – AoE firebomber.
• Welt (Imaginary Nihility) – Debuff mastermind.
• Bronya (Wind Harmony) – Team-turn accelerator.
• Gepard (Ice Preservation) – Tank extraordinaire.
• Clara (Physical Destruction) – Counterattack powerhouse.
• Yanqing (Ice Hunt) – Single-target sniper.
• Bailu (Lightning Abundance) – Bounce-back healer.

HoYoverse has also teased their fans with the information that this hero pool might expand in the coming days.

How to claim your free 5-Star character?

This giveaway will start with Version 3.2 on April 9, 2025, and run through Version 3.4’s end on August 12, 2025. You can log in at any time during this event and you will get a Golden Companion Spirit token in your mail. Redeem it in the new in-game shop, pick your 5-star, and bam—they’re yours.

Golden Companion Spirit: How to get more 5-Stars?

The 2nd anniversary of Honkai Star Rail will debut a new currency for getting 5-star characters called Golden Companion Spirit. You will get one with the start of the 3.2 version, but here’s how you can earn more of these spirits in the game:

• To purchase Oneiric Shards, spend real money to reach a shard threshold (about $100 based on past trends) and receive an additional token with your draws.
• Trade Silver Companion Spirits: Can you pull a duplicate max-Eidolon 5-star (for example, your sixth Bronya)? There’s one Silver Companion Spirit. Exchange two silver coins for one gold token.

Beyond this free 5-star characters, players will also get 20 login pulls, 1,600 Stellar Jades (10 more pulls), and triple relic drops for Honkai Star Rail 2nd anniversary.
