Don’t leave anything behind!
The extraction shooter fans and players are currently enjoying Embark Studios’ new game, ARC Raiders. In this game, scavenging and looting are pretty important, but they are also filled with dangers.
You don’t want to get hit by “inventory full” just when you get something good. Expanding your stash (home base storage) and backpack (on-raid carry) is pretty simple and let’s check out how you can do it in the game.
Expanding your stash in ARC Raiders
Players’ stash will start with 64 slots, which is fine for tutorial raids, but not enough for the later part of the game. You can easily expand it from the menu by emptying your wallet.
Navigate to the Main Menu > Inventory tab. Can you identify the sparkling Expand button between Loadout and Stash? Smash it.
Each stage adds 24 slots and costs increasing coins. The first bump (88 slots total) pays 5,000 coins; the second (112 slots) pays 10,000 coins; and so on until you reach the maximum of 200 slots, which pays 30,000 or more every pop.
It’s a grind! You can farm or sell junk to get the coins. Expanding your stash is totally worth it in ARC Raiders.

Backpack expansion: Augment your way to endless looting
Towards the mid-raids, every slot will be very important. Enter Looting Augments, which are craftable or purchasable benefits that add extra storage capacity to your kit.
Here’s a quick rundown of top-tier options:
| Augment Name | Bonus Slots/Features | How to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Looting MK.1 | +8 Inventory Slots +1 Safe Pocket | Early Workbench craft; Lance sells for 1,920 Coins |
| Looting MK.2 | +12 Inventory Slots +3 Trinket Slots +2 Safe Pockets | Blueprint hunt first, then craft; Lance for 6,000 Coins |
Team up for blueprint sharing, and remember that augmentations scale with your tech tree, so level up your Workbench.
Mastering storage elevates ARC Raiders from scramble survival to strategic dominance: more loot equals better crafts, braver raids, and fewer “one more slot” regrets.
