Epic Games seems to be dropping one of the biggest Fortnite updates in Zero Build mode, which might change the game once again.

Latest Fortnite update is removing fall damage in zero build
There is no doubt that one of the most surprising changes in this update is the removal of the lethal fall damage in Zero Build Mode.
Players are still going to take the fall damage when falling from high location. But they will no longer be eliminated. According to Epic Games, players will be able to survive with at least 1 HP remaining after a dangerous fall.
With this change, you can expect players to pull and make more aggressive movement and the game will become more fast-paced.

Pocket items introduced with unlimited uses
Epic Games is also introducing a brand new feature, which is called Pocket Items. At the start of every match, players will be able to receive one random utility item, which will have unlimited uses.
Here are some possible items:
- Shockwave Grenades
- Med Mist Grenades
- Shield Bubbles
Players will also be able to swap these items at vending machines during matches. This will provide more flexibility and pull up some crazy strategies in the game.
Glider Redeploy & Mobility Improvements
In the latest Fortnite update, mobility is also receiving a huge boost. Permanent Glider Redeploy is now officially returning in zero build mode.
This will allow players to rotate safely around the map. You will also gain the ability to manually cut the glide in mid-air and enter free fall.

- Eliminations now restore Overshield
- Unlimited stamina while holding a Pickaxe
- Reduced Reboot Van cooldowns
