Get ready to customize the costumes!
NetEase Marvel Rivals new update is finally live right now and fans don’t have to wait for the downtime as well this time.
In the new update, we will be getting the new costume customization, new skins and small bug fixes in the game. Let’s check out more details in this article.
New costume customization
Marvel Rivals new update was released on April 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM UTC/2:00 AM PDT. With these, you can change your favorite costumes’ color combos directly in the Costumes tab.
Players can now choose from Plasma Pulse, Phantom Purple, Winter’s Wrath and Rosy Resiliance color palettes.
The main point to remember is that this isn’t free. This will cost 600 Unstable Molecules for exchange.
Unstable molecules can be swapped from the lattice at a 1:1 ratio. You must first collect the outfits before customizing them.
This feature will initially be available on a limited number of costumes, but will gradually expand it to include more costumes.
When you change your colors, it will influence the Intro Animation, MVP, and Emotes. Beginning with Season 3, new alternatives for obtaining Unstable Molecules will be available.
