Marvel Snap's Fantastic Four Season: New season, cards, gameplay & more

Pedro Pascal has arrived!

The fans are pretty excited for Marvel Snap’s new season, which is starting from today, July 8, 2025. This new season is going to introduce the Fantastic Four cinematic twist ahead of the upcoming movie launch.

Starring Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), this season combines MCU inspiration with new gameplay, making it a noteworthy update.

Cinematic crossover with Fantastic Four

All four members of the family: Mister Fantastic, Human Torch, The Thing, and Invisible Woman, are already in Marvel Snap.

However, the new season reimagines them with the upcoming movie-inspired theme and abilities.

The battle pass showcases “Mister Fantastic: Fantastic 4 First Steps,” which features Pascal’s likeness and includes a new ability: “End of Turn: Give a card in your hand -1 Cost or +2 Power.”

This card varies from the original in that it introduces a “End of Turn” archetype, which has gained popularity, in addition to the On Reveal and Ongoing mechanics.

Gameplay mode & new cards

Here are some movie-themed cards with fresh twists in the game:

• H.E.R.B.I.E.: 2 Cost, 3 Power – “Each turn this card is in play, swap to a new Activate ability until one is used.”
• Human Torch: Fantastic 4 First Steps: 3 Cost, 2 Power; “End of Turn: +1 Power.” If your side is already full, double the power of this card once every game.”
• The Thing: Fantastic 4 First Steps: 5 Cost, 6 Power; “End of Turn: +2 Power.” If your side is full here, destroy an enemy card with less power once per game.”
• Invisible Woman Fantastic 4 First Steps: “Activate: This turn, your End of Turn abilities happen twice.”

Final Conclusion

There are some additional cards like Fantasticar, Mole Man, and Mad Thinker, which will also join the roster.

Grand Arena, a new limited-time game similar to Hearthstone, allows you to choose a “Champion” and a special power, with the goal of being more fair than last month’s panned Sanctum Showdown.

Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released on July 25, 2025, in theatres.
