Nintendo fans seem to be eating good, as a trusted source and popular leaker, NateTheHate has revealed the Nintendo Switch Direct scheduled for the second week of September.

Last time, it was the July 2025 partner showcase, where we saw 25 minutes of third-party announcements. Let’s check out more details in this article.

What to expect from Nintendo Switch Direct?

According to NateTheHate’s recent X post, there will be a Nintendo Switch Direct happening around September 11-12, 2025. There aren’t many details available for this; however, this surely falls within the Nintendo pattern of fall updates.

The main hype is still about the Red Dead Redemption 2 port for Nintendo Switch 2. It was previously revealed by Nate that the RDR 2 port is going to arrive for Switch 2.

In the recent, fans asked about whether they might see the announcement in this direct. To which, Nate replied:

“Maybe? Depends if Nintendo courted Rockstar.” He added that the port is “bound” to happen.

There are also other Switch 2 titles, which are slated for October/November release, such as Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Kirby Air Riders, Borderlands 4, and Little Nightmares III. We might see more about them in this Nintendo Switch Direct as well.

Recently, there has also been gameplay footage leaked for Star Wars Outlaws for Nintendo Switch 2. This can be announced as well.
