Overwatch 2 Season 15 preload size, release time & more

The new Overwatch 2 Season 15 which is titled, “Honor & Glory,” is all set to release today and will introduce many new features to Blizzard’s acclaimed hero shooter game.
With the season’s premiere approaching on live servers, players may now preload the update to prevent server congestion and get right into the action. This feature is only available to PC users via Battle.net.
Preload size details
The information has been revealed as the preload size for Overwatch 2 Season 15 is approximately 2.95 GB. Players should make sure they have enough space on their SSD or hard drive to handle this update. Given the amount of content, including Hero Perks, a new Battle Pass, and several limited-time events, the size appears warranted.

How can you preload on Battle.net?
Just follow these simple steps to preload the Overwatch 2 Season 15:
- Login to Battle.net: Open the Battle.net client and login into your account.
- Find Overwatch 2: Navigate to the Overwatch 2 section.
- Start the update process: Look for the “Update” prompt to begin downloading the pre-release content. If you don’t see it, click the options icon and select “Check for Updates” to instruct the client to check for new content.
- Download: After checking for updates, you should see the option to preload.

Overwatch 2 Season 15 will launch on February 18, 2025, at different times across the globe:
- 11 am PT (USA)
- 12 pm MT (USA)
- 2 pm ET (USA)
- 12:30 am IST (India, the next day)
