Here is the known Dramatic Showdown Tournament schedule revealed by Bandai Namco:

• Online Qualifiers: The voyage begins November 16, 2024 and ends December 8, 2024. Players from nine regions, including Mexico, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Spain, Italy, the United States East, and the United States West, will battle to be named regional champions.
• Battle Hour Qualifiers: An extra seven players will advance to the Grand Finals in a live competition at the Battle Hour event on January 18, 2025, for a total of 16 finalists.

Rules and Format of Dramatic Showdown Tournament

Here is the format and some rules of the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero tournament which you need to keep in mind:

• Platform: All matches will be played on PlayStation 5.
• Format: Best-of-three (first to two wins), with a single elimination structure.
• Qualifiers:
• Game Mode: DP Battle, where each player selects a team with a maximum of 15 DP.
• Character Rules: Winners stick with their team; losers can switch.
• Items: Not allowed.
• Stages: No restrictions.
• Time Limit: 600 seconds per match.
• Grand Finals:
• Character Selection: Each region or Battle Hour qualifier has a preset character, with variations allowed (e.g., France gets Goku (Super) Ultra Instinct):
• Mexico – Golden Frieza
• Germany – Super Baby 2 (GT)
• Italy – Broly (Super), Super Saiyan (Full Power)
• … (and so forth for other regions and Battle Hour spots)
• Additional Team Member: Players can pick a second character from a 40-character pool, limited to characters with less than 4 DP.
