Nightreign fans! There is finally something new for you, as Bandai Namco and the official Elden Ring account on X has announced the new Deep of Night mode.

This new update is catered especially for all the seasoned Nightfarers and this is going to present some immense challenges for them. Let’s check out more details in this article.

Deep of Night mode release

Mark your calendars as the all-new Deep of Night mode is all set to release on September 11, 2025. It will be available on all platforms: Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Nightreign has already become quite a successful game for FromSoftware. It has already sold more than 5 million copies and fans are now looking forward to the DLC as well, which is expected by the end of 2025.

Tired of raiding the Night Lords again and again? Don’t worry, Nightreign is finally getting a new hard mode, where things will become more difficult for you.

Stronger and harder enemies & bosses and you can unlock some exclusive relics and weapons. This is how the official Elden Ring X account describes the new mode:

A crimson malice stirs within the lightless abyss, its raw rage seeping into your foes. The Deep of Night, a new high difficulty mode for seasoned Nightfarers, descends on September 11, 2025.

These weapons have unique bonuses, albeit some may have debuffs, which provide strategic depth. Unlike previous modes, you cannot select a single Nightlord, and the ground is static, ruling out Shifting Earth principles.

Beyond Depth 3, a “endless battle” awaits you in Depths 4 and 5, which will test your endurance. Ratings will also fluctuate based on your victories and losses, dynamically altering the Depth level, making each run unique.

This mode is designed for veterans tired of grinding Everdark Sovereigns and provides a gratifying challenge in Elden Ring Nightreign.
