Dizang is a combo master!

The fans and players are currently enjoying Marvel Rivals Season 4.5 with the new DPS character, Daredevil. He is the 43rd hero that has been introduced in the game.

It won’t be a lie to say that he is the best-designed and released character in the game so far and fans are really having fun while playing him. Let’s check out more details in this article.

What makes Daredevil truly special?

In every way, this character is pretty broken in the right hands. This is the first melee, which works in every comp and every high rank as well.

Best designed character does not mean it has to do with the look, but it means for its kit and how well it works in the match.

He is the most perfect melee hero that has been introduced, who does not lose any 1v1, except for Thor and Emma Frost. His radar sense, which makes him look through the walls, is a perfect counter for flankers and dive characters.

He has a lot of burst damage and performs combos back to back with his fury resource. He also has a deflect, which is pretty useful and he can also climb the walls and get his dash reset on kill.

Not only on paper, but in the game as well, his whole kit is pretty busted. A true master with this character can easily carry the whole game.

Does he need a nerf?

From my point of view, I don’t think he deserves a nerf, as you can counter him and Daredevil players get too greedy and end up feeding as well.

However, he gets a lot of extra bonus health and he can stick to supports for a longer duration while doing a lot of burst damage. If he gets nerf, I think it will be related to his bonus health.

Still, this is the most broken and fun hero that NetEase has released so far in the game. The hype for Blade was immense; however, his release was kind of mid.

Final Thoughts

Both Angela and Daredevil are pretty fun to play and many fans hope that NetEase will release more fun heroes with some unique and fun abilities for the upcoming new heroes and villains as well.

For now, Gambit and Rogue are speculated to be the next two heroes who might join the roster in Marvel Rivals Season 5.

FAQs

What makes Daredevil a “combo master” in Marvel Rivals?

His fluid kit—Radar Sense for wall vision, Deflect for counters, wall-climbs, dash resets on kills, and Fury-fueled bursts—lets him chain attacks seamlessly, dominating 1v1s except against Thor or Emma Frost.

Does Daredevil need a nerf?

Not drastically—he’s greedy-punishable, but a tweak to bonus health or Fury regen could balance his sticky burst without killing the fun; he’s the most versatile melee yet.

How does Daredevil counter flankers in Marvel Rivals?

Radar Sense spots through walls for preemptive dives, while Deflect and teleport dashes turn ambushes into setups; he’s a flanker-eater in high-rank comps.
