2023 Masters Tournament Final Standings Explored: Jon Rahm bagged his second major title

Jon Rahm was the champion of the 2023 Masters Tournament, which was the 87th edition of the event. The tournament took place at Augusta National Golf Club from April 6-9 in Augusta, Georgia, United States. This was the first of the four major tournaments in 2023.
The Masters Tournament has been played at the Augusta National Golf Club annually since 1934.
A total of 104 players had the privilege of participating in the 2023 Masters after receiving invitations. The criteria for invitation selection included: all previous winners, recent major champions, top finishers in the majors from the previous year, 18 LIV golfers, top players who have been leading the play for a year on the PGA Tour, winners of the PGA Tour full-point events in the last 12 months, players with a global ranking, and a few additional top performers.

In the past four years, Jon Rahm became the fourth Spanish golfer to secure a victory at the Masters Tournament. He earned his first “green jacket” and his second major tournament title. Rahm achieved a three-under-par 69 score, which was four shots better than Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson.
At the start of the final round, Rahm was trailing Koepka by just two strokes. However, he shot a 3-under 69 in the end, surpassing the 12-under score. He clinched a substantial $3.24 million prize at The 2023 Masters.
