Jeff Rhodes, Rory McIlroy’s winning partner at the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournament, is a co-manager of TPG Capital, a prominent global investment firm. Rhodes has been associated with TPG Capital since 2005 and became a board member in December of the previous year. He holds a degree in economics from Williams College and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Throughout his career, Rhodes has gained extensive experience in the healthcare services, medical, and pharmaceutical sectors. Prior to joining TPG Capital, he held positions at companies such as EnvisionRX, Par Pharmaceutical Companies, Surgical Care Affiliates, and Zimmer Biomet. Rory McIlroy faces challenges in 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach

Rory McIlroy’s anticipated debut at the 2024 PGA Tour season during the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournament saw its fair share of ups and downs. While the Northern Irishman displayed flashes of brilliance, he faced hurdles that impacted his overall performance on the course.

In the opening round of the tournament, McIlroy showcased his skills with six birdies, but encountered setbacks in the latter part of the round. A two-stroke penalty on the par-5 seventh hole marred his otherwise solid start, ultimately leading him to close the day with a score of 71. The round concluded with three consecutive bogeys, including a triple bogey on the seventh hole, leaving McIlroy with ground to make up.

Day two presented its own challenges for McIlroy as he grappled with inconsistencies in his game. Despite a promising start, highlighted by birdies on the sixth and seventh holes, McIlroy faced setbacks with a double bogey on the fourth hole and additional bogeys on the eighth and 12th holes. A closing birdie on the 16th hole provided a glimmer of hope, yet McIlroy concluded the round with a 2-over par 74.

While McIlroy’s performance in the Pro-Am event alongside partner Jeff Rhodes secured victory, his individual standing among the professional leaderboard saw him settle in a tie for 69th place at the conclusion of Friday’s round.
