Matt Wallace birdied five of the six holes to grab the lead at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson 2024 on Thursday, May 2. The 34-year-old from London fired a bogey-free eight under par in the CJ Cup Byron Nelson 2024, playing at the TPC Craig Ranch in Mckinney, Texas. He is one stroke ahead of the nine other players who are yet to find their first round this morning at 7.50 am. Local time. Matt Wallace will tee at 1:33 p.m. alongside Kevin Kisner, and Cameron Champ.

Many players, including Alex Noran, Tylor Pendrith, Taiga Semikawa, Jake Knapp, Jelly Kraf, and Davis Riley all carded 64, but none could hit the target set by the Wallace.
