The winner of the Myrtle Beach Classic 2024 will get $720,000 from $4 million purse.
Myrtle Beach Classic 2024 is all over the internet. It is a brand-new addition to the PGA Tour, supported by Visit Myrtle Beach. The tournament will make its debut on 9 May – 12 May on the coastal lines of Atlanta Ocean, the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
Myrtle Beach Classic 2024 is a full-field event that will be part of the PGA Tour FedEx Club irregular season from 2024. Dunes Golf Club and Beach Club have together hosted a ceremony announcing their four-year agreement for the tournament.
The cut line set for the Myrtle Beach Classic 2024 is set the top 70 players including ties would advance past the first two rounds of the tournament. The first winner of the Myrtle Beach Classic will get the handsome prize of $720,000 from the purse of $4 million along with the 300 Fed Ex points.
Myrtle Beach Classic streaming
Myrtle Beach Classic is going on at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club which is ranked under 100 best golf courses in the USA. The tournament will be live streamed on Peacock and will be covered by Golf Channel for TV from 9.30 am to 11.00 am on weekdays. On weekends it will be from 3.00 pm-5.00 pm.
In total 138 players are taking part in the tournament including 38 PGA Tour winners with the cut line of the top 70 including ties. According to the sportesline maximum chance of winning the tournament is of Erik van Rooyen at +2500 followed by Ben Griffin at +2800 and Daniel Berger at +3000.
The course of the Myrtle Beach Classic has an elevation of 26 feet from the ground making it an aerial game for the viewers. The 13th hole of the course is a signature hole which is a par five hole. The hole has a very tight fairway which narrows down to a mere 18 yards, 330 yards of the tee box.
