Who will participate in PGA Championship 2024? Golf Major field explored

The PGA Championship 2024, one of golf’s four majors, will be held for the 106th edition from May 16–19 at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, marking its 106th edition in history.
The 156-player field will play in groups of three off Nos. 1 and 10 tees in the opening two rounds, with morning and afternoon waves. A 36-hole cut will be made to the top 70 players and ties, with no cut between the third and fourth rounds. If a tie occurs after 72 holes, a three-hole playoff will be held, followed by a hole-by-hole playoff.
PGA Championship 2024 field explored
Michael Block, Luke Donald, Shaun Micheel (7:15 a.m. Thursday, No. 1 / 12:40 p.m. Friday, No. 10): Block, will lead the first tee shot off No. 1 at Valhalla, alongside European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald and past PGA Championship winner Shaun Micheel, who won in 2003 at Oak Hill.
Ludvig Åberg, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas (7:53 a.m. Thursday, No. 10 / 1:18 p.m. Friday, No. 1): Aberg, Schauffele, and Thomas will compete in the Valhalla Masters, aiming to maintain their form from last month’s Masters. Åberg, who finished runner-up at the Masters, will join Schauffele, who has six top-five finishes in majors, and Thomas, who won two PGA Championships.
Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Keegan Bradley (8:04 a.m. Thursday, No. 10 / 1:29 p.m. Friday, No. 1): Woods, with 82 PGA TOUR titles, won his third major title at the 2000 PGA Championship at Valhalla. He will play alongside 14-time TOUR winner Scott and 2011 PGA champion Bradley, who won at Atlanta Athletic Club in his first major start. Woods completed the “Tiger Slam” at the Masters.
Rory McIlroy, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose (8:15 a.m. Thursday, No. 10 / 1:40 p.m. Friday, No. 1): World No. 2 McIlroy aims to end a 10-year losing streak in major championships, competing alongside two-time major champions Johnson and Olympic gold medalist Rose, who won the 2013 U.S. Open and 2016 Olympic gold medals.
Wyndham Clark, Brian Harman, Scottie Scheffler (2:13 p.m. Thursday, No. 1 / 8:48 a.m. Friday, No. 10): The last three major winners, including Masters champion Scheffler, U.S. Open champion Clark, and The Open winner Harman, will compete in a dynamic grouping.
Rickie Fowler, Jon Rahm, Cameron Young (2:02 p.m. Thursday, No. 1 / 8:37 a.m. Friday, No. 10): Fowler, a six-time TOUR winner, will compete at Valhalla, alongside two-time major champion Rahm and rising star Cameron Young, who has yet to win on TOUR. Fowler has 13 top-10s in majors but has yet to break through for his first major title.
