Wells Fargo Championship will have a field of 70 players.

The Wells Cargo Championship 2024, a PGA Tour signature event, will take place from May 6 to 12 at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. The tournament, which includes the RBC Heritage, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, and Arnold Palmer Invitational, is expected to be larger and better with an expanded infrastructure of 15-20%. Quail Hollow is renowned for its excellent condition, requiring great driving skills, long driving, and solid ball striking.

The championship will have a field of between 70 players. The previous season’s top 50 finishers from the FedExCup standings are the eligibility category for the field. The Quail Hollow Club will host a four-day competition with a total prize of $20 million for all eight events, along with 700 FedExCup points, to be added to the winner’s prize cup.

A total of $20 million is the purse for the Wells Fargo Championship. 2023 was the year in which the status of the purse was declared. Notably, the previously followed share will be maintained in 2024.
