The Oranje will be looking to put behind their last finals heartbreak.

The Netherlands will aim to erase the heartbreak of the 2018 edition, in which they lost the finals after a penalty shootout against Belgium. They have played in every edition of the tournament, making it to six finals and winning thrice. For the showdown in Bhubaneshwar, the Netherlands have named a strong 18-member squad.

Back-to-back runners-up finishes have been tough to swallow, but despite the recent shortcomings, the Netherlands are the second most successful team in World Cup history.

The Netherlands failed to progress to the semifinals in the 2020 Olympics, resulting in their worst performance in 37 years. Although, they won the European Championships in 2021, which will fill them with confidence coming into the blockbuster event. Here is their squad for the 2023 World Cup.
