After a two-month-long search from the hockey federation, a new Chief Head coach Craig Fulton was appointed last week, to take charge of the National Hockey team.

Craig Fulton has been the assistant head coach of the very successful Belgium National Team since 2018 and comes in with a huge expectation to replicate similar success for the Indian Hockey team soon. However, the newly appointed head coach shall take charge of the National Team post-April, and former national team high-performance director David John will be in charge of this FIH Men's Hockey Pro League event in Rourkela.
