Netherlands are the defending champion.

The Women’s FIH Pro League 2023-24 is the fifth edition of the competition, a field hockey championship for women’s national teams. The tournament began on December 6 and will finish on June 29.

Teams play home and away games, but the season is split into different periods. To make the scheduling easier for international and domestic competitions, some teams meet in one location to play “mini tournaments,” where they face each other twice.

If one of the two games between two teams is called off, the team that wins the other game gets double points. The winner of this season will qualify directly for the 2026 FIH Women’s World Cup.

New Zealand decided to pull out of this season, so the United States came back even though they were relegated last season.
