The FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025 is the first edition to feature 24 nations.

Ahead of the much-awaited FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025, captains from all 24 participating countries took part in a very special photo-opportunity with the coveted trophy.

12 captains each, in Madurai, at the newly inaugurated Madurai International Hockey Stadium, and Chennai, at the iconic Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium, were part of this memorable photograph.

The FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2025 commences from 28th November with hosts India playing their first Pool B game against Chile in Chennai, whilst defending champions Germany in Pool A will open their campaign against South Africa at the Madurai International Hockey Stadium.

The grand final is scheduled for December 10th at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium in Chennai. This is also the first time the tournament is featuring 24 nations.
