Hockey India League 2025–26 finale to be played in Bhubaneswar; Hockey India announces free tickets

The coveted League returns to the home of hockey in Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Hockey Stadium from 17th January.

As the Hero Hockey India League 2025-2026 prepares to return to the home of hockey in Bhubaneswar from 17th January, the tickets have gone live today at 1100hrs IST. Hockey India has announced that tickets will be free of cost for fans keen on catching the action live.

The mega League will see its grand finale being held on 26th January.

Hero Hockey India League (HIL) Governing committee chairperson Dr Dilip Tirkey said, “As the Hero Hockey India League returns to the hockey hub of India in Bhubaneswar, there is certainly a lot of excitement among hockey fans in the region to come watch their favourite stars live in action.

To encourage more fans to come to the stadium and enjoy the thrilling matches, Hockey India has made the tickets free of cost. I believe this will encourage more fans from across Odisha to come to Bhubaneswar and watch some exciting hockey.”

Hero Hockey India League (HIL) governing committee member Bhola Nath Singh also encouraged more fans to come watch the matches live.

He said, “Hero HIL will culminate in Bhubaneswar on 26th January and we expect hockey fans to come and enjoy #hockeykajashn. It was our aim to increase the fanbase for our sport across regions and I believe the final in Bhubaneswar will witness a packed stadium.”

An impressive roster of eight men’s teams and four women’s teams are part of the League, offering fast-paced, exciting games through their newly revamped formats.

In the Men’s Hero HIL, Vedanta Kalinga Lancers are leading the points table in its first phase in Chennai while in the Women’s HIL, SG Pipers have already booked their final spot as table toppers.
