Ghumanhera win by 23 goals in Sub-Junior Men National Championship

Ghumanhera Riser's Academy, Jai Bharat Hockey Academy and Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy registered wins on the fourth day of the 1st Hockey India Sub-Junior Men National Championship 2021 here in Bhopal today.
In the first match of the day, Dhyan Chand Hockey Academy and Markandeshwar Hockey Academy played out a hard-fought 2-2 draw. Mohd Arsh (19', 58'), who bagged a brace, led his team Dhyan Chand Hockey Academy's fightback after their opponents Markandeshwar Hockey academy had taken the lead twice through goals from Lovejeet Singh (11') and Bhrat Kaushik (35') in what was a topsy-turvy Pool E fixture.
Following their 1-4 defeat on day two, Ghumanhera Riser's Academy bounced back in style to claim a massive 23-0 win against Malwa Hockey Academy Hanumangarh in the Pool F match of the day. Govind (11', 28', 32', 49', 55', 58') starred with six goals, Yuvraj Singh (3', 8', 37', 47') scored four and Captain Moohamed Jaeed (18', 20', 58') bagged a fine hat-trick in what was a goal-fest. Akshay Kumar (2', 38'), Naman Sharma (4', 55') and Kunal Singh Chhikara (21', 22') registered a brace each, while Harsh Phalswal (4'), Aditya Kataria (21'), Pradeep (24') and Manjeet (41') contributed a goal each in their team's first win of the Sub-Junior Men National Championship .
In Pool H, Jai Bharat Hockey Academy eased past HIM Academy with a 4-0 win. Deepak (29', 41') netted twice, while Sahil Malik (7') and Sunny (10') scored a goal each for Jai Bharat Hockey Academy.
In Pool G, Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy registered a clinical 6-2 win against HAR Hockey Academy. Mohd Konain Dad's (40', 45') bagged a crucial brace, which put Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy in the driving seat, while Zameer Mohammad (23') Captain Ali Ahmad (26'), Deynick Telem Singh (38') and Mohd Anas (59') also contributed one goal each in their team's win. Captain Sahil (14') and Vinay (24') were the two goalscorers for HAR Hockey Academy in the Sub-Junior Men National Championship .
