07:30 PM: Hello and welcome to Khel Now’s live update of Day 27 of PKL season 9.

U Mumba vs Jaipur Pink Panthers

U Mumba after a three-match winning streak lost a close encounter against Patna Pirates (31-34). Ashish played the role of an all-rounder scoring two tackle points and five raid points. The youngster could have concentrated more on raiding in the absence of Guman Singh but Ashish looks to be good at both raiding and defence. Jaipur Pink Panthers will next play U Mumba in their PKL 9 game.

Jaipur Pink Panthers after a three-match losing streak won a close match against Dabang Delhi KC (40-45) and are currently placed third in the points table. Arjun Deshwal was the star of the match scoring 16 raid points and getting good support from Rahul Chaudhari and Ajith Kumar.

Head to Head

U Mumba and Jaipur Pink Panthers have faced each other 17 times at the Pro Kabaddi League out of which, Jaipur has won seven matches whereas U Mumba has come out victorious on ten occasions with two matches ending in a tie.

Player to watch

Ankush along with captain Sunil Kumar has been excellent in defending. Even when Sunil failed to score points Ankush has scored points consistently throughout and is ranked inside the top 10 in the tackle points table. Ashish and Heiderali will be leading the raiding and Ankush will have to be careful with their threat.

Heiderali the Iranian with the limited opportunities has looked good and has scored a super 10 as well. In the absence of Guman Singh coach Anil Chaprana has been banking heavily on Heiderali who can take over the primary raiding role and also has the ability to score quick points when required.

Patna Pirates vs Haryana Steelers

Haryana Steelers are on a four-match unbeaten streak with two wins and two ties. The northern team played out a close match against UP Yoddhas (36-36) and is currently in the 7th position in the points table. Meetu and Manjeet Dahiya put in a collective effort in the raiding department scoring 12 and eight points respectively. Patna Pirates will next play Haryana Steelers in their upcoming Pro Kabaddi League PKL Season 9 in Balewadi, Pune.

Patna Pirates after a poor start to the season are on the right track and are unbeaten in the last five games winning four along with a tie. Sachin Tanwar scored another super 10 and has improved a lot from the Bengaluru leg. The right and left combo combination will be a threat to many teams going forward.

Head to Head

Patna Pirates and Haryana Steelers have faced each other seven times in the Pro Kabaddi League out of which, Patna has won three matches whereas Harayana has also come out victorious on three occasions with one match ending in a tie.

Player to watch

Mohammedreza Chiyaneah will be the player to watch out with both Manjeet and Meetu being the right raiders. The Iranian in the last game put up a solo tackle and looked in good touch for the last couple of matches. The duo of Meetu and Manjeet can be a threat and the Iranian needs to be careful of their threat.

Meetu has been in good form in season 9 and at times taken over the primary raiders role from Manjeet Dahiya. The young raider has scored a few super 10s in the opportunities provided and needs to be careful against Chiyaneah and Sunil who have been scoring well in recent matches.
