Bengaluru Bulls vs Jaipur Pink Panthers

Bengaluru Bulls won the last encounter against Dabang Delhi KC after trailing by more than ten points in the first half. Bharat Hooda after a poor start scored 23 raid points at the end scoring points in all the raids in the last eight minutes of the match. The defence led by Sourabh Nandal was below par with the raiders scoring majority of the points.

Jaipur Pink Panthers decimated Telugu Titans beating the host by a 20-point margin (48-28). Arjun Deshwal and Ankush were the star performers scoring 18 raid points and six points respectively. The winner between these two teams will go to the 2nd spot in the points table.

Bengaluru Bulls and Jaipur Pink Panthers have faced each other 16 times in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) out of which, Bengaluru Bulls have won eight matches whereas Jaipur has come out victorious on seven occasions with one match ending in a tie.

Player to watch

Vikas Kandola shall be the player to watch out for from Bengaluru Bulls who scored his third super 10 of the PKL season 9. With the league in the fag end, Vikash Kandola has got back to form at the right time but needs to be consistent. Jaipur has one of the best defence in the league and Vikash will have his task cut out.

Ankush one of the top most raider in season 9 will be against Bharat Hooda the strike raider. The main aim of Ankush shall be to keep Bharat quiet for the entire match. In the past, Bharat has been silent in the first half but caught up pace in the second which the Jaipur franchise should be aware of.

Dabang Delhi vs Tamil Thalaivas

Tamil Thalaivas bounced back strongly in the absence of their captain Sagar winning against Gujarat Giants (42-39) thereby climbing up the top 6 spots for the second time in PKL season 9. Ajinkya Pawar’s presence of mind in the last two minutes prevented Tamil Thalaivas from getting all-out and Narender Kandola supporting with 13 raid points.

Dabang Delhi KC were the favourites to win the match against Bengaluru Bulls after the end of the first half having a lead of more than ten points. The defence was excellent in the first half but showed inconsistency in the second costing them the game (52-49). The raiders performed to their best with not enough support from the defenders.

Dabang Delhi KC and Tamil Thalaivas have faced each other seven times in the Pro Kabaddi League out of which, Dabang Delhi KC has won five times and Tamil Thalaivas has won only once with one match ending in a tie.

Player to watch

Ajinkya Pawar shall be the player to watch out for who will be having the added responsibility in the defence in the absence of star defender Sagar. Being the secondary raider, Pawar needs to play carefully and stay for the maximum time on the mat as he is the most experienced. Amit Hooda will be the threat to both the left raiders from Tamil Thalaivas.

The corner duo of Amit Hooda and Sandeep Dhull should start in the playing 7 as they look like a formidable duo and have a good understanding. Both Amit and Dhull have together played for Jaipur Pink Panthers and will have good communication among them. With Tamil Thalaivas having two left-flank raiders Amit Hooda will be the crisis man for Delhi.
