Player to watch
Amit Hooda in the right corner position has stood tall in Dabang Delhi’s last two wins tackling in crucial situations. Krishan Hooda was the reliable defender at the start of the league but Amit in the last few matches has been the perfect backup and the combination with Sandeep Dhull is working out quite well as both have previously played for Jaipur Pink Panthers in similar positions.
Partheek Dahiya the tall lanky youngster has made a good comeback to the team scoring a super 10 in the last encounter against UP Yoddhas. The raider will play a crucial role in raiding along with captain Chandran Ranjith who has also scored points in the last few matches. Partheek needs to attack Sandeep Dhull who tends to make advanced tackles.
Key to Sucess
Dabang Delhi KC coach has worked with the defenders to get back to the original form and it is paying off with the last two wins. The defending champions (defenders) need to perform in a similar manner consistently with Gujarat Giants possessing the like of three quality raiders who can progress with their game if Delhi’s defence dont perform.
Gujarat Giants' defence in the absence of Sourav Gulia has taken a massive toll with none of the others stepping up at crucial junctures. Rinku Narwal the corner defender has performed well but the likes of Arkam Shaikh need to up their form as Dabang Delhi too possess quality raiders as Gujarat Giants.
