The two in-form teams will play the next Pro Kabaddi League game.

Haryana Steelers are on a four-match unbeaten streak with two wins and two ties. The northern team played out a close match against UP Yoddhas (36-36) and is currently in the 7th position in the points table. Meetu and Manjeet Dahiya put in a collective effort in the raiding department scoring 12 and eight points respectively. Patna Pirates will next play Haryana Steelers in their upcoming Pro Kabaddi League PKL Season 9 in Balewadi, Pune.

Patna Pirates after a poor start to the season are on the right track and are unbeaten in the last five games winning four along with a tie. Sachin Tanwar scored another super 10 and has improved a lot from the Bengaluru leg. The right and left combo combination will be a threat to many teams going forward.

Head to Head

Patna Pirates and Haryana Steelers have faced each other seven times in the Pro Kabaddi League out of which, Patna has won three matches whereas Harayana has also come out victorious on three occasions with one match ending in a tie.

Player to watch

Mohammedreza Chiyaneah will be the player to watch out with both Manjeet and Meetu being the right raiders. The Iranian in the last game put up a solo tackle and looked in good touch for the last couple of matches. The duo of Meetu and Manjeet can be a threat and the Iranian needs to be careful of their threat.

Meetu has been in good form in season 9 and at times taken over the primary raiders role from Manjeet Dahiya. The young raider has scored a few super 10s in the opportunities provided and needs to be careful against Chiyaneah and Sunil who have been scoring well in recent matches.

Key to Success

Sachin and the defence need to score points for the team to put up a good fight. Rohit Gulia needs to chip in a few raids and tackle points is one of the most experienced players in the Pro Kabaddi League. The cover position needs to tighten up with Sajin not in the same form as in season 8.

Bastami and Joginder Narwal the young inexperienced pair should have been an excellent combo which hasn't happened. Bastami has looked good in patches and has not been scoring points regularly. Being in the right corner position Bastami shall be wary of Sachi who will look to score points ahead of the inexperienced youngster.

Did you know

Monu has scored 185 points overall in the Pro Kabaddi League and is just 15 points short to reach the 200 points mark.
