Fazel Atrachali, Naveen Kumar headline Team of the Week for PKL 9 GW 4

Two Bengaluru Bulls stars are also in Khel Now's TOTW for the past week.
The Pune leg of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9 has got off to a good start and has seen a lot of twists and turns. Dabang Delhi KC, who were on top of the points table at one stage, has slowly slid down after losing five matches on the trot. Bengaluru Bulls are now the table leaders, with Puneri Paltan jumping to the second with a six-match unbeaten run.
Tamil Thalaivas has been the most improved squad beating the top two teams after Ashan Kumar took over coaching. Narender Kandola was the star in raiding becoming consistent as the league has gone by. Take a look at the PKL 9 Team of the Week for gameweek 4.
Right Corner - Saurabh Nandal (Bengaluru Bulls)
The right defender has been the wall for Bengaluru Bulls topping the tackle points table with 34 points. Saurabh has not got many high-fives compared to other defenders, but has been scoring points at a healthy rate throughout the 10 matches that Bengaluru Bulls have played.
Right In - Bharat (Bengaluru Bulls)
Bharat has scored 112 raid points in the 10 matches played to date in PKL season 9. The star raider was initially retained as the secondary raider with Vikash Kandola taking the primary responsibilities. But as the season went by, Bharat turned out to be exceptional scoring seven super 10s. He is closing in on the gap with Naveen Kumar to get to the top of the raid points table.
Right Cover - Sourav Gulia (Gujarat Giants)
The defender from Gujarat Giants is having a good season scoring 25 points in nine matches. He is the lone defender from Gujarat Giants to feature in the top 20 of the tackle points table. Gujarat has a relatively inexperienced defence and Sourav is taking up the responsibility and performing well.

Centre - Naveen Kumar (Dabang Delhi)
Naveen “Express” Kumar continues to be on the top of the raiding points table scoring 126 raid points. The Dabang Delhi skipper had only one poor game overall scoring five raid points due to an injury. But apart from that one match, Naveender has scored eight consecutive super 10s and nine overall - the most in PKL season 9.
Left Cover - Surinder Singh (U Mumba)
The U Mumba captain has scored 29 tackle points in nine matches and is the most successful defender for the franchise. In PKL season 9, Surinder Singh has not been involved in as many unsuccessful tackles as he had in the past couple of seasons and is scoring points at a healthy rate. More responsibility as a captain has brought in a good change to the experienced defender.
Left In - Narender Kandola (Tamil Thalaivas)
Narender Kandola has scored three successive super 10s in the unbeaten streak Tamil Thalaivas is maintaining after the appointment of coach Ashan Kumar. The youngster in his maiden season is pulling off the dubki skill perfectly overcoming many defenders.
Overall Naveen has scored 99 raid points in the nine matches and occupies the third spot in the raider's points table. Replacing Pawan Sehrawat is not an easy thing, but the youngster in his maiden season has turned out to be a gem.
Left Corner - Fazel Athrachali (Puneri Paltan)
Fazel “Sultan” Athrachali missed Puneri Paltan's opening match in PKL season 9 but after his arrival, the Paltans have performed exceptionally well. Having already led U Mumba before, His experience is paying off this season and he is captaining the side pretty well and holding the defence strong. In the seven matches that he has played, Fazel has scored 22 tackle points.
