PKL 9: Dominant UP Yoddhas to meet Jaipur Pink Panthers again

Pardeep Narwal is back in form as he accumulated 22 points in his previous game.

Jaipur Pink Panthers started the Pune leg on a poor note losing the first two encounters but have bounced back brilliantly and are currently a win away from getting to the top 2 spots in the points table. Arjun Deshwal has been the only reliable and consistent raider for the franchise and in the defence, Ankush has become the first defender to get to the 50 tackle points mark. Jaipur Pink Panthers will play UP Yoddhas in their next PKL 9 game.

UP Yoddhas were on a roll against Dabang Delhi KC where the “Dubki” king Pardeep Narwal himself scored 22 raid points and was just one point shy of creating the most raid points scored in season 9. With the resurgence of Pardeep Narwal and Surinder Gill in great form, the duo can go on to become one of the deadliest in PKL 9.

Player to watch 

Sumit the left corner defender has looked in good touch for the past few games having scored tackle points consistently. He will be up against Arjun Deshwal who has been Jaipur's only consistent raider this season. If Sumit succeeds to tackle Arjun then there are not many in the backup to revive the star raider. 

Pardeep Narwal is back to his previous best as we have seen him in seasons 4,5, and 6 scoring raid points for fun. In the last encounter, Pardeep scored double super 10 against the hapless Dabang Delhi KC but will be up against a strong Jaipur defensive unit that has the best defending unit in season 9. 

Key to Sucess

If Surinder Gill doesn't play again in this encounter then Jaipur needs to only concentrate on Pardeep and look to pin him down a majority of the time. Nitin Tomar has been a good supporting raider but needs more experience to take over the primary raiding role which shall give Jaipur the upper hand.

The corner duo of Sumit and Nitesh Kumar shall look to defend Arjun Deshwal with not many left in the tanks to provide star raider with enough support in the raiding department. In the end, it will be the battle of the defenders and the team to score more tackle points shall win.
