PKL: Naveen Kumar becomes the fastest raider to 900 points in PKL history

The Dabang Delhi captain has scored 14 super 10s so far in PKL season 9.
Naveen Kumar became the fastest to score 900 raid points in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history. He achieved this feat by scoring a super 10 against Puneri Paltan in PKL season 9. The star raider scored 16 raid points which is also his 14th super 10 of the season. Dabang Delhi KC was unfortunate to lose the encounter to Puneri Paltan by three points (44-47).
Naveen “Express” Kumar started his PKL career with Dabang Delhi KC in season 6 and since then has been the most consistent raider for the franchise. The franchise kept improving since his arrival making it to the playoffs in season 6, making it to the finals in season 7, and ultimately winning the title in season 8. There has always been an upward curve since his inception.
Naveen Kumar scored 177 raid points in 22 matches in his debut season, 303 points in season 7, and 210 points in season 8. The raider got injured during the middle phase of season 8 but still breached the 200 raid points. The average raid points per match are close to 11 points which are among the top most in the league. Overall Naveen Kumar has scored 57 Super 10s and with few more matches remaining there is still plenty of points to be scored this season.
