Bengal has to win this match to make their hope stay alive for the playoffs.

Bengal Warriors lost the last encounter to Jaipur Pink Panther by a 25-point margin (31-57) and are currently positioned 10th in the points table of PKL 9. Shrikanth Jadhav scored more than half of the team's score(16) with none turning up in the crucial encounter. The defence in particular cost Bengal the game.

Dabang Delhi KC won the last encounter against U Mumba comfortably (24-41) and is just a foot away from making it to the playoffs. Amit Hooda scored the most points (7) in the presence of Naveen Kumar, Vijay Malik, and Ashu Malik. The defence played a massive role in the win against U Mumba.

Head to Head.

Dabang Delhi KC and Bengal Warriors have faced 18 other times in the Pro Kabaddi League out of which Bengal Warriors have won eight matches whereas Dabang Delhi KC has come out victorious on seven occasions with three games ending in a tie.

Player to watch

As mentioned earlier for Dabang Delhi KC to win a match their defence needs to step up and perform. Once again the left-right corner combo of Sandeep Dhull and Amit Hooda will be the key who both combined to score 11 tackle points against U Mumba. Sandeep Dhull in particular needs to evade the threat of Maninder Singh.

Girish Ernak will have to step up in the do-or-die encounter being one of the most experienced defenders for Bengal. The defender failed to score a single tackle point against Jaipur Pink Panthers who generally operate with only two raiders. Dabang Delhi KC is a raiding heavy unit and Ernak needs to bring in his A game.

Key to Success

For both sides to win their defence needs to step up. Dabang Delhi KC defensive unit has some improvement in the last game but needs to maintain consistency. Bengal Warriors on the other hand could only score three tackle points in the last game and all the tackle points came through Subham Shinde.

Surender Nada from Bengal Warriors is just one point away from reaching the 300 points mark and has played a total of 100 matches in the Pro Kabaddi League.
