PKL 9 Final Jaipur Pink Panthers vs Puneri Paltan: Three Key Battles to watch out for

The top 2 consistent sides in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9 will battle it out in the finals on 17th December. Jaipur Pink Panthers hasn't lost a single match in the last six encounters and the performance in the last match will be a confidence booster. Puneri Paltan in the absence of lead raiders Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat fought hard to win a close match against Tamil Thalaiavas.

Ajith Kumar vs Gaurav Khatri

Puneri Paltan's Gaurav Khatri has been a good replacement for Sombir in the right-corner position. In the last match against Tamil Thalaivas, he scored four tackle points and always kept Narender Kandola and Ajinkya Pawar under pressure with his attacking mindset. Ajith Kumar from Jaipur Pink Panthers on the other hand scored his third successive super 10 and is in full confidence going into the finals. Ajith Kumar will not attempt for a bonus but rather pull Kahtri forward for an advanced tackle.

Pankaj Mohite vs Ankush

Ankush scored his 10th high 5 of the season the most in the league and also moved to the top of the tackle points list in just his debut season. He will be high on confidence as he did not involve in any unsuccessful tackle in the semifinals. Pankaj Mohite filled the spot of primary raider and scored 16 points ahead of Akash Shinde and was also the game-changer.

Arjun Deshwal vs Fazel Atrachali

Arjun Deshwal has been out of form for the past two matches but it has not hurt the team with Ajith Kumar supporting him. He will be up against Fazel Atrachali and Nabibaksh and taking a bonus or a raid point under their radar would be extremely tough. Nabibaksh is also back to his best and played a crucial role in the semifinals. Arjun needs to be careful and shall look to attack the cover region often to regain back confidence.
