PKL 9 playoffs: Puneri Paltan vs Tamil Thalaivas predicted lineups
Mohit Goyat is likely to start for the Paltans.
Tamil Thalaivas will take on Puneri Paltan in the second semi-final of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9. Both teams faced each other twice in the league phases and won one each, with both results decided by a single-point margin.
The semi-final battle will also turn out to be in a similar fashion with the kind of form both teams are in. Tamil Thalaivas will be high on confidence in winning against UP Yoddhas in the tiebreaker and coming from behind in the last minute.
Puneri Paltan
BC Ramesh has one of the best bench strengths among all the teams this season. There might be a few changes excepted with Nabibaksh coming into the playing 7. Nabibaksh wasn't included since the start of the Hyderabad leg but in the end, was brought in as a substitute.
The Iranian’s experience can play a major role in the semis and might get a nod in the playing 7. Pankaj Mohite has been excellent in the last few matches but might have to sit out in the palace of Mohit Goyat if he is back fit.
Puneri Paltan Predicted Lineup
Aslam Inamdar, Akash Shinde, Mohit Goyat, Fazel Athrachali, Sombir, Abhinesh Nadarajan, Nabibaksh.
Tamil Thalaivas
Tamil Thalaivas will go in with the same playing 7 they fielded against UP Yoddhas. Ashan Kumar has never changed his playing 7 since he took over the coaching stint showing his confidence in the players. Mohit had a poor game in the last encounter against UP Yoddhas but scored three points in the tie-breaker with one point coming through a raid. Ashan has made full use of his players and the players too have delivered as a team.
Tamil Thalaivas Predicted Lineup
Narender Kandola, Ajinkya Pawar, Himanshu, Sagar, Sahil Gulia, Abhishek M, Mohit.
