What's next for Kabaddi stars after the mega PKL season 9?

The players are set to compete in different tournaments throughout the season.
After the successful completion of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 9 the players will have an important season ahead of them with many important tournaments set to take place in 2023. Pro Kabaddi League plays a vital role in a player's career (financial aspects) but to be in good shape for the PKL the players have to toil hard in the off-season. Majorly there aren't many tournaments held apart from the PKL apart from the national and state meets. We tend to see bilateral series taking place in other sports which is rare in Kabaddi. In this article let us look at the upcoming tournaments in 2023.
Inter Railways Tournament
Big names like Siddharth Desai and Nitesh Kumar participated in the 70th Inter Railways Championships. 16 teams from different regions took part in the event as listed below.

Junior Federation Cup
A few top names from PKL 9 in the NYP category played in this tournament. Haryana the powerhouse of Kabaddi beat SAI (Sports Authority of India) to lift the title in the men’s section.
Senior Championships
This will be the most important event in the domestic circuit with all the states and union territories along with the Railways and Services taking part. The event can be held anywhere between the months of February and March.
Civil Services Tournament
The dates for the tournament have not been announced yet and will be updated soon.
Asian Games
The Asian Games are slated to be held in September and India will be looking to stamp authority this time after clinching the bronze medal in the 2018 edition. All the upcoming domestic tournaments along with the PKL performance will be taken into consideration while selecting the squad for the Asian Games.
The Indian National team could have taken part in the Bangabandhu Cup in Bangladesh where 12 countries are set to participate. India has not participated in any international event since 2020.
