The veteran player has alleged discrimination for not selecting any player from UP.

Rahul Chaudhari, the big star of the Indian Kabaddi world also known as the 'Show Man,' has given a sharp reaction to his non-selection in the upcoming Asian Kabaddi Championship team and India camp. He has accused the National Kabaddi Federation of discrimination. According to Rahul Chaudhari, the Uttar Pradesh team performed well in the National Games and won the gold medal, while no player from UP has been selected for the Asian Kabaddi Championship. He alleged that favoritism is being done in team selection.

The 11th Asian Kabaddi Championship will be held in Busan, South Korea from June 27 to June 30. A total of 12 members have been selected for this tournament, in which many veteran players are present. Veterans like Arjun Deshwal, Naveen Kumar, Aslam Inamdar, and Pawan Sehrawat have got a place in this team. In defense, players like Nitesh Kumar, Pravesh Bhainswal, Vishal Bhardwaj, Surjit Singh, and Shubham Shinde have found a place.

Sunil Kumar, who won the PKL title for Jaipur Pink Panthers under his captaincy, has also been included in the team. However, the surprising thing is that players like veteran raiders Pardeep Narwal, Vikash Kandola, and Maninder Singh have not been included in this team.

Rahul Chaudhari released a video alleging injustice

On the other hand, Rahul Chaudhari has released a video on social media alleging favoritism in team selection. He said in his video, "I have not been selected in the India camp, whereas I should have been selected. I took my team to the quarterfinals in Nationals, in which my performance was the best. Secondly, there are national games in which our team won the gold medal."

"The top 8 teams play in this, and we won the gold medal in this. We won this gold medal by defeating the teams whose seven to eight players are in the India camp today. My performance in that was the best. It was even better. If even then my selection is not happening for the India camp, then you can understand how much discrimination is being done with me." he added.

Let us tell you that the last time the Indian team won the title of the Asian Kabaddi Championship was when it was organized in Iran. So far, the Asian Kabaddi Championship has been organized 10 times in total. It was first organized in 1980, which was won by the Indian team. There have been a total of eight editions since 1980, and the Indian team has completely dominated it. Team India has won the gold medal of this tournament the maximum number of times, seven times. At the same time, Iran had won the gold medal.
